Fitting...

Lately I have been fascinated with HOROSCPES. Oddly enough....I usually find that they are "oh" so fitting. The following is my horoscope today:

"Today you might find yourself daydreaming about faraway places, dear Aries, and perhaps toying with the idea of taking a long vacation by air to a place you've always wanted to visit. This is not a good day to make definite plans, however, and you're not likely to be inclined to do that right now anyway. Love matters may take an unexpected turn, as a spiritual bond seems to be forming between you and a potential romantic partner."

CRAZY that I have been constantly daydreaming of faraway places. I will be in SAN DIEGO next weekend, and have planned a hike down the Grand Canyon to my own little heaven, Havasupai, in May! I have several other trips in the works :) I am constantly on the go and planning the next 6 months of my life.
I also see a move in my future...exciting and needed for my life. More details on that big decision later.
Until then....I will be daydreaming about the beaches and sunshine of San Diego and sailing the waters with great friends. Next weekend could not come soon enough.

** Oh!! And my "love matters have taken quite the turn...still feeling uneasy about that, but I have turned into a more spiritual person because of it. I like that :) We will see what becomes of my love life.
Did I mention how amazing my friends are! They are REMARKABLE!! I am so blessed to have them ALL in my life.

LOVE THIS...

i believe that we are put here in human form to decipher the hieroglyphs of love & suffering. &, there is no degree of love or intensity of feeling that does not bring with it the possibility of a crippling hurt. but, it is a duty to take that risk & love without reserve or defense.

love without reserve or defense... how freeing that must be. its something i am sure we could all strive to be better at...
thanks Mykelle....

Laney Grace Evers

I am a proud Aunt!!! Laney Grace Evers was born January 23, 2008. She is absolutely perfect and I can not wait to meet her. Elle will be 3 in February and I can not believe how big she is getting. She is the sweetest little girl, and is full of energy. I can not wait to go visit them so I can meet baby Laney and have a Tea Party with Elle and her doll Dora.

My Missionary

I never did have a Missionary, but I sure do now!

Elder Bardonski is serving his mission in San Bernardino, CA! He went into the MTC right before Christmas and I am SO PROUD of my little brother. He really has grown up so much, and is such and example to me. The letters we get are so impressive, and it is apparent that he is a rock solid missionary who has a love for the gospel and a testimony of the work he is doing! What a stud!!! The family sure is not the same with out him, we miss him so much!

Sam and Lindsay

Going home to Colorado for my sisters wedding was so much FUN. I got to spend some quality time with Linz the two days before her big day.
Sleepovers and late night chats that I will never forget.
I also got to spend some quality time with the rest of my sisters and niece. I love Colorado visits, and how exciting for Sam and Lindsay!

I love this picture of Lindsay and my Dad dancing!!

Sam is finally part of our family! We always knew he would be, but it was made official November 21, 2008. I could not have picked a better husband for my beautiful little sister. Congratulations S & L Wolthius

SHOUT OUT TO C-DAWG!!

Carolyn (aka Theurer) is moving to HAWAII :(  She will be so missed!  I have been so lucky to have her as a BFF, I love and admire her in SOOOOO many ways!  I will miss our runs, our crazy church activities, sleep overs, pool days, and all the fun times we had this winter.  Not only is C-Dawg and amazing friends but she is also one of the most talented people I have ever met.  She is off to coach college level Soccer at BYU Hawaii, and I know she will have a great time and do an amazing job!

Thank HEAVENS for modern day MEDICINE!

Who needs two kidneys anyways???? Dont we only need one???

Alright, I am kidding and am very grateful for my now healthy kidneys.
After passing two kidney stones and having a kidney infection, I am very grateful for doctors, and all the good stuff they put in my IV so I had no pain.  Mark kept telling me to tell the doctor that I could still feel it, so they would come put more pain medication in my IV.  I think he was amused, and relieved to see me out of pain.  After being on an IV for three days, I am now better for the most part and can take my medication orally instead of through the IV.  Still 4 more kidney stones to go, but at least I am prepared.....I think :(

I am also so grateful for my amazing friends who care so much about me, and took care of me.  I don't know what I would do with out them.
